  • Joseph Nicéphore Niépce a fost primul om care a realizat o fotografie.

  • În anul 1848, Felix Tournachon, cunoscut mai bine sub numele Félix Nadar, realizează prima fotografie aeriană.

  • George Eastman reușește în anul 1884 să realizeze primul negativ flexibil, pe un suport de nitroceluloză, cunoscut sub denumirea de "roll film", ușor de manipulat, incasabil și cu aceleași proprietăți fotografice ca și ale plăcii de cristal.

  • Prima fotografie cu culori permanente a fost făcută în 1861 de fizicianul James Clerk Maxwell.

  • În 1990, compania Kodak a prezentat publicului DCS 100, primul aparat de fotografiat digital disponibil în comerț.

  • Un test realizat de Wilhelm Imaging Research, cel mai important laborator independent de cercetare in domeniul rezistentei fotografiilor si filmelor, demonstreaza ca solutiile HP de imprimare a fotografiilor ofera o rezistenta la decolorare a instantaneelor expuse de 115 ani.

  • Studiile de fiabilitate arata ca tiparirea unei fotografii digitale folosind un cartus unic garanteaza o calitate superioara a culorii si o mentinere a ei in timp.

  • Primii fotografi erau de formatie pictori cu o vasta educatie si cultura. Practic ei au cautat metode alternative de a surprinde peisaje, oameni, etc. Iar pentru a fi in aceasta bransa trebuia sa fii instarit fiindca toate materialele folosite la fotografie erau extrem de scumpe.

  • Un aparat de fotografiat fabricat in urma cu 168 de ani(cel mai vechi din lume), conceput de fratii Susse, s-a vandut, in mai 2007, la o licitatie din Viena, cu peste 500.000 de euro.

  • In 1848, Felix Tournachon, better known under the name Nadar, performed the first aerial photograph.

  • George Eastman in 1884 manages to make the first flexible negative on a nitrocellulose support, known as "film roll", easy to handle, unbreakable and with the same  photographic properties as a plate of crystal.

  • The first permanent color photo was taken in 1861 by the physicist James Clerk Maxwell.

  • In 1990, the Kodak company unveiled the DCS 100, the first digital camera commercially available.

  • A test conducted by Wilhelm Imaging Research, the most important independent laboratory research photos and movies resistance demonstrates that HP photo printing solutions offer fade resistance snapshots exposed for 115 years.

  • Studies show that  a digital photo printing using a single cartridge ensures high quality color and maintaining them over time.

  • The first band photographers were artists with extensive education and culture. Basically they sought alternative methods to capture landscapes, people, etc. And to be in this branch you had to be wealthy because all materials used in the photo were extremely expensive.

  • A camera manufactured 168 years ago (the oldest in the world), designed by Susse brothers, was sold in May 2007 at an auction in Vienna, with over 500,000 euro.
