Au fost 4 zile de festival în Bristol, UK.

Joi, 11 August 2016. Ora 6 p.m. Vreme mohorâtă, cer înorat. Trafic infernal. Sute de maşini se îndreptau spre Ashton Court Estate, Bristol. Am făcut o oră din Keynsham până în Bristol. Parcări pline. Un sfat, dacă doriţi să mergeţi, intraţi la ei pe site şi rezervaţi o parcare. Este mult mai comod şi rapid.

Sute sau poate mii de oameni erau pe iarbă. Copii, părinţi, bunici, cu toţii aşteptau cu sufletul la gură şi cu fish and chips în mână (e o mâncare tradiţională la ei, gen micii la noi).

Din păcate, în prima şi a doua zi de festival, din cauza vremii, baloanele nu s-au ridicat de la sol. Au fost doar umflate şi prezentate. Colorate, cu linii, cu diferite modele, în formă de leu, pătrate, rotunde, de toate felurile şi mărimile.

Sâmbătă dimineaţa, la ora 6 a.m., în sfârşit, după lungi aşteptări şi speranţe, focul a fost aprins şi baloanele s-au ridicat, rând pe rând , până au colorat cerul. Cât vedeai cu ochii, totul era acoperit de zâmbete şi aer cald. Soarele strălucea prin frânghiile baloanelor până în obiectivul aparatului foto. E un prilej deosebit pentru iubitorii de „zboruri” să încerce aceste aventuri, dar şi pentru împătimiţii de fotografie.

Parcul e plin de tarabe, de tot felul , de la mâncare şi băuturi până la ursuleţi de pluş sau obiecte de artizanat. Permanent, siguranţa este asigurată de poliţie şi ambulanţă.  Sunt 4 zile de distracţie. Intrarea e liberă, doar dacă vrei să te dai cu balonul plăteşti. Sau dacă mori de foame. La ediţia de anul acesta au participat peste 200 de baloane!  Seara, baloanele lăsau loc artificiilor pe cer. Atmosfera era asigurată de muzică live. Pe parcursul zilei s-au organizat tot felul de competiţii.  Dacă vreţi, exită un loc de camping, unde puteţi rămâne cu cortul, pe parcursul celor 4 zile de festival.

Din păcate, nu am reuşit să prind cadre, decât în zilele când a fost înorat. Genul asta de eveniment îmi aduce amite de zilele oraşelor de la noi, cu tarabe, mâncăruri, tiribombe şi muzică live.

Per total, festivalul a fost o reuşită (era şi mai bine dacă vremea ar fi ţinut cu organizatorii), unic in Europa, Bristol International Baloon Fiesta este un prilej de socializare şi entreteinment.

There were four days of the festival in Bristol, UK.

Thursday, August 11, 2016. Time 6pm. Weather dreary, cloudy sky. Infernal traffic. Hundreds of cars headed to Ashton Court Estate, Bristol. I did one hour of Keynsham to Bristol. Parking full. A tip if you want to go, go on their site and book a parking lot. It is more convenient and fast.

Hundreds or thousands of people were on the grass. Children, parents, grandparents, everyone waited with baited breath, and fish and chips in hand (it's a traditional dish for they, as  mici  to us).

Unfortunately, in the first and second day of the festival, due to the bad weather, balloons were not raised from the ground. There were only swollen and presented. Colorful lines with different models, lion-shaped, square, round, of all kinds and sizes.

Saturday morning at 6 a.m., finally, after long expectation and hope, the fire was lit and balloons were raised, one by one, until they colored the sky. As you saw with your eyes, everything was covered with smiles and warm air. The sun shone through the ropes balloons to the camera lens. It's a special occasion for lovers of "flights" try these adventures, but also for photography buffs.

The park is filled with stalls of all kinds, from food and drinks to teddy bears or handicrafts. Permanent safety is ensured by the police and ambulance. There are 4 days of fun. Entry is free, unless you want to pay ballooning. Or if you're starving. At this year's edition, over 200 balloons attended! In the evening, balloons were replaced with fireworks . The atmosphere was provided by live music. During the day they were organized all kinds of competitions. If you want, there is a campsite, where you can stay in a tent, during the 4 days of the festival.
Unfortunately, I just took photos only  in the days when it was cloudy. This kind of event,reminds me of the days event in our city, with stalls, food, live music and a bumper cars.

Overall, the festival was a success (it would been even better if the weather had held with the organizers), unique in Europe, Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is an opportunity to socialize and enterteinment.
